Jen Niemi

Jen Niemi has been part of VCA since 2017. Jen has a dual role at VCA as part of the administration team and our first grade teacher. Jen holds a Master of Education degree, a California Multi-Subject teaching credential, and an ACSI Principal Administration Certification. Her dedication to education extends beyond academics; she is passionate about facilitating social-emotional learning and student leadership. Outside of her professional life, Jen has been married to her husband, Jon, for over 28 years, and they have raised two spectacular now adult children. Together, they enjoy spending time with their family and traveling.

Renee VanMaren

Renee VanMaren has been with VCA since 2000. She is part of our administration team, overseeing the roles of preschool director, athletic director, H.R., and finance support. She has an associate degree in early education with a certification in administration from Napa Valley College. She has been married for 31 years to her husband Mike and, through the grace of God, has raised three amazing adult children. She loves spending time with her two adorable twin grandsons, vacationing with family, attending and watching sporting events, being on her boat at Lake Tahoe, and eating music and good food. She is a fan of VCA Lions, The Warriors, and the 49ers. Her favorite thing about VCA is when teachers come alongside one another and support our students with more than just academics.
