Open Enrollment & Wait List
We begin Open Enrollment (for prospective families not currently enrolled at Veritas Christian Academy) on February each year. At that time, we will open up any available spots to our wait list applicants. Wait list families will be given the opportunity to first schedule a shadow day and academic assessment for their student (K-8th grade). If enrollment is offered, families will have one week, to submit their online enrollment paperwork and online registration fee. After this time, any remaining spots will be made available to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are interested in enrollment, please submit the online application form and non-refundable $25 online application fee. Receipt of the online application and $25 application fee will place you on the waitlist.

Admission Policy
Veritas Christian Academy will not discriminate on the basis of the applicant’s race, color, sex, national or ethnic origin. We reserve the right to select students on the basis of academic performance, religious commitment and personal qualifications, including a willingness to cooperate with the staff and administration of Veritas Christian Academy.
Students seeking admission will be evaluated on the basis of their transcripts, assessment, interview and perceived ability to perform satisfactorily at Veritas Christian Academy. Students with less than a “C” average in academic subjects may have difficulty attaining a satisfactory level of academic achievement. VCA strives to meet all children’s educational needs. However, we are limited in outside support for children with special learning needs. While we intend to work with each student on an individual basis, a complete partnership between home and school is required for every student’s success.

Prospective students must have a sincere desire to attend Veritas Christian Academy and be willing to submit to all the standards and regulations of the school. The student must be respectful to his/her peers, staff and faculty. Attendance at Veritas Christian Academy is a privilege, not a right. No student will be admitted directly following suspension or expulsion from another school. All new students will be subject to a one month probationary period for academic and behavioral evaluation.

Transfer Applicants
We consider transfer applications throughout the school year, on a space-available basis.

Kindergarten Age Requirement
The applicant must be five-years-old on or before September 1st of the current school year.

Campus Visits
All prospective families must complete a formal orientation, to be scheduled through the Admissions Office. This can be done by attending a Welcome Wednesday event and/or a scheduled campus tour.
To schedule a tour, please call 707.253.7226 or complete an online inquiry form.

Shadowing Visits for Students
Shadowing provides great insight into daily life at Veritas Christian Academy. Students entering Grades K-2 are required to shadow with current VCA students for a half-day. Students entering Grades 3-8 are required to shadow with current VCA students for a full-day. A shadow day is part of the process, but does not guarantee an offer of enrollment.
